Remote Medical International Account Manager, Tom Milne, has been receiving some face time on various news channels and websites, both locally here in Seattle and through some national media in recent weeks. In response to the price of gas, Tom began riding his bike to work daily earlier this year, from his house in West Seattle to the RMI office located at Fisherman’s Terminal in Ballard.
Recently, though, Tom took this a step further and began commuting to work approximately 13 miles in his Kayak each way. Somehow, King 5 News here in Seattle found out that Tom was doing this and ran a story on their nightly news and website. From there, the story has been syndicated all over the internet, and most recently, Forbes.com ran a feature on Tom’s commute. To Check out the clips click here:

We all think this is great here at RMI, but just hope that Tom buys himself a more appropriate kayak soon, as his Sit-On-Top is arguably not the most efficient choice…
